| The Kyocera Group published an "Environmental Report" each year since FY2001 when it was first released on the Web site to disclose the details of environmental activities of the Kyocera Group. The name of the report was changed to the "CSR Report" in FY2008. |

| Kyocera has been conducting "On-Site Environment Classes" for children, who will take responsibility for the next generation. The purpose of the classes is to deepen understanding of environmental issues, energy and other matters in order to cultivate a spirit of consideration for the planet. |
| Environmental Activities in Local Areas |

| Grassroots activities that aim to strengthen bonds with local communities such as opinion exchange with stakeholders, local residents and administrators are conducted. Beautification activities in the communities where company facilities are located are also carried out. |

| Environmental Awareness for Employees and Their Families |

| Kyocera believes that employees are important stakeholders who promote environmental activities. Kyocera promotes various activities for improvement of environmental awareness such as holding "CSR Report Meetings," distributing environmental booklets and holding briefings, as well as collecting environmental posters and slogans to promote environmental activities during the Kyocera Group Environmental Awareness Month. |
